Sharpay finally gets the leading role in Twitter: The Musical

In a new fad taking over Twitter, High School Musical fans are bringing a video of the musical number “What I’ve Been Looking For” back into the conversation and they have serious points to make.

Most of the statements revolve around Sharpay being neglected during the high of the films and how it is time she gets the respect she deserves.

Sharpay Evans went through quite the character development during the three-movie series. Though she always kept up her diva attitude, she showed real care for her peers and even gave her brother Ryan the Star Dazzle Award at the end of the second film. She is hardworking and talented with a real passion for the theater.

Ashley Tisdale, who played Sharpay in the films, even replied to some of the tweets.
